Fit For Travel, a useful website for further travel health information from the NHS can be found here.

Minor Surgery

Certain minor procedures and joint injections can be performed in the surgery by Dr Pedder-Smith.   The doctor or nurse would discuss this further with you if necessary,  Appointments for minor surgery are made outside of normal surgery time by the doctor’s PA and are made in arrangement with Dr Pedder-Smith.

Ear Syringing

If you feel that you might need your ears syringing please contact the surgery to arrange an appointment with a nurse.  The appointment will usually be made around 7 days in advance as you will be asked to instil olive oil into the affected ear(s) to help soften the wax.  The nurse will then assess your ears and perform the syringing if necessary.
